Door decorations?

I have not been on a cruise yet that I didn't see doors decorated. I personally have never decorated the door (always thought about it, but never had the time to bring something with us to do it). However, funny this has come up since my daughter and I just made our very first door decorations for our upcoming cruise. :D

....had been instructed to remove door signs...

I think maybe we're talking about two different things here. Door 'signs' vs. door 'decor'. I could see door signs, with something specifically referencing Cruise Critic or another organization, as being problematic, and maybe are being considered a form of advertisement of sorts.

From my experience, I don't see them as having a problem with generic decor for a holiday or special occasion.
