lilkickgang Posted October 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2014 So I know last cruise I passed on bingo although I dont recall the cost, I know it was more than I wanted to pay...but was curious if any recent cruisers recall the current rate to play? I know my girls would like to play on our upcoming cruise... Thanks! Kelly

lalalemon Posted October 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 27, 2014 On Adventure last week it was $22 for a half pack and $32 for a full pack. Half pack is 3 cards for each of 4 games and full pack is 6 cards for each of 4 games. Prizes ranged from $200-$560, we didn't win though :( Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
michtrif Posted October 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2014 I payed $55 on Explorer to play "electronic bingo" I think the computer held 30 cards. It definitely wasn't like the Bingo I was used to playing! The computer did it all. I didn't win. But it was fun!
GaryT-UK Posted October 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2014 On Freedom a couple of weeks ago it was $32 for 6 cards, or $55 for electronic boards that gave you 33 chances and they were doing a buy 2 get one free offer with them. I only played the cards - didn't win at bingo, but did get a t-shirt(!) and free cocktail :)
birdofsong Posted October 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2014 We paid $64 for both paper and electronic, and won a free cruise. :D

IWORK2CRUISE Posted October 27, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2014 I wish that they would get rid of the electronic cards and lower the price a bit. Without as much interaction from the audience/participants/staff it really changed the experience. BINGO used to be more fun and I now play less than I used to. CyberTag Posted October 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 28, 2014 We were on the Allure in June, and the electronic and paper was $80. I was amazed how many played! Too rich for our blood.
matj2000 Posted October 28, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Cruise ship bingo is pretty much a rip-off. The prices are very steep. You see tons of people playing. But the payouts are relatively small. Because only a small portion of sales goes to the prizes...
lilkickgang Posted October 28, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Thanks for all the responses...it is certainly a little pricey, but now I know what to expect and can decide if I want to splurge on a game or two:cool: 25 more days:D Kelly
trev71 Posted October 28, 2014 #13 Share Posted October 28, 2014 I dont normally enjoy bingo either does my wife. aurelius180 Posted October 28, 2014 #14 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Just off the Vision yesterday and we played once. The prices were: 3 cards per game with 4 games - $22 6 cards per game with 4 games - $32 Electronic reader 24 cards with games - $45 They also offered pull tab games at $5 per card. Once was enough for us and we remembered why we didn't like it. If you do play, the Electronic reader seems to provide a good chance at winning. One guy had one and he won at least 2 of the 4 games. jenf22 Posted October 28, 2014 #16 Share Posted October 28, 2014 We paid $64 for both paper and electronic, and won a free cruise. :D Congrats! :) We were on Jewel 2 weeks ago and it was $67 for the paper cards and electronic thingy. The 7 year old is in charge of the electronic one and I get to fold the paper. It was fun, but we didn't win.
