Dress code on Noordam

New to Holland America.. Can someone please tell me if you can wear dress skorts in the main dining room.. And I've also read sleeveless will not be allowed, does this apply to formal gowns too?

Yes to skorts. You can go sleeveless.

 

Check the HAL website for the official dress code.

Depends on which day. Regular evenings and lunch skorts are no problem. Sleeveless is never a problem. On formal nights I would skip the skort unless you pair it with the ever-present "sparkly top"

JMO -- but I would not wear skorts on smart casual nights.

All my regular tops and fancy tops are sleeveless and no one has said anything to me about not being able to wear them and we have cruised on HAL since 1996.

Thank you all so much!! I've cruised 38 times on other cruiselines and never had an issue.. The skorts I have are dressy.. Not casual and they look totally like a skirt all the way around but have shorts underneath..

Sounds like you will be fine, but I wouldn't wear skorts on formal night, just saying.
