Absolutely you will hear noise. A lot of chair scraping at all hours and talking, music, etc. during the day and early evening. Also, smoke from the smoking allowed in area directly above. The chair scraping and smoke was what we found extremely annoying. For this reason, together with severe soot problem on another S-class ship is why we no longer book these cabins!

Never been on Celebrity and was after some information about the deck 12 staterooms aft.

Do you get a lot of noise from the deck above, I think it's a sun deck and bar area. Any help on this will be appreciated. About to book for next June.

Thanks

Catherine

We had an aft suite on deck 8 and loved it! If you can get a lower deck- it is a wonderful cabin! We were also on the non-smoking side of the ship-

Enjoy your cruise!

Hi NORTH EAST GIRL,

Welcome to Celebrity

You should be aware that this Forum has a STICKY to help Cruisers when they are picking cabins... Info is submitted by fellow Cruisers and in the case of the S-Class Ships compiled / maintained in a spreadsheet by CC Member LIBRARYLADY19

Look to the top of this Forum for the S-Class Cabin Spreadsheet STICKY... Lots of great info there (it is also searchable, and some Pax have gone so far as to post photos with their Survey input)

NOTE - The S-Class Ships (Solstice - Equinox - Eclipse - Silhouette - and Reflection) are very similar and have almost the same footprint & layout (newer versions do have more Suites). So in many cases the cabin numbers & locations across the series are the same... Helpful when looking at the Cabin Spreadsheet STICKY. But do double check Deck Plans if you are relying on info by cabin numbers for another ship to make sure the physical lcation is the same. Cabins in the same locations, in spite of their numbers, will have the same pros & cons.

Cheers!
