Beverage packages?

Can someone tell me the cost of:

1. Unlimited Soda Package

2. Unlimited Soda Package and more

3. Cafe Selects Coffee Card

With the above 3 cards, if only one person in the cabin wants it the other does NOT need to purchase correct? I only drink water/bottled water, maybe one drink during the cruise.

If my husband wants to purchase the All Inclusive Beverage Package then it is my understanding both of us will be charged for it ... am I understanding this correctly?

Thank you for your help.

Update: I think I just found the answer to my own questions:

Unlimited Soda Package:

Receive a souvenir tumbler and select from a

variety of unlimited soft drinks served by the glass

at all bars and restaurant locations throughout your

cruise. Price includes service charge.

Item #0523 – $5.18 per person/per day*

Unlimited Soda & More Package:

more Package,† entitling you to the above Unlimited

Soda Package plus any mocktails, juices, shakes,

floats and complimentary hot chocolate throughout

your cruise. Price includes service charge.

combination for the price of five: Coke, Diet Coke,

water, ginger ale.

As for the all inclusive, your husband can get it, you don't have to.

Thank you both. That would be great if we can do it that way.

I'm a water drinker 99% of the time. I'm fine with a glass of ice water (ship water) and we usually have a bottled water in the cabin.

He would be the one using the all inclusive if he decides he wants to get it.

  • 1 month later...

I purchased the all-inclusive beverage package for our 10 day New Years cruise, and think it was worth the cost...both for the alcoholic drinks and nonalcoholic. I think I probably used the card more for bottles of water and cans of club soda and soda than adult beverages, and still feel like I came out even or a little ahead. I used the 40% off bottles of wine deal several times in the dining room as well. My husband didn't purchase the package, as he's mostly a beer drinker. We're going on another 10 day cruise later this year and I will most definitely purchase the package again.

We just booked the Ruby Princess in August, does anyone know if you can purchase the drink packages online? I've been scouring the website and I was wondering if I have to call customer service to add on the drink packages.

It's under the gifts and services section. You'll have to fax the form or call Princess to order.

I think this is what you are looking for:

It is under Gifts and Services on the Princess site:

http://www.princess.com/learn/cruise...-and-services/

and a link to the pdf if you want to advance order:

Unlimited beverage package is $49 + 15% = $56.35/day/pp for every day including sea days and port days. (7 day cruise = $394.45).

Approximate price of drinks including the 15% is

Beers $5 to $6

Wines $7 to $8 per glass

Cocktails and straight spirits most are under $10

Espresso w/o alcohol drinks $3

Sodas, waters $2/$3

$40% off bottles of wine up to $100

Does not apply to room service

There are some specials on beers and some happy hour prices

You'll have to do the math to determine if it is worth it for you.

So if the shots are small I can order a double if it comes to $10. If it comes to $11 I would need to buy two separate shots?
