Clarea Posted November 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I suspect that with no more corkage fees, they will eventually deliver all wine to the stateroom.
Janet524 Posted November 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 7, 2014 I suspect that with no more corkage fees, they will eventually deliver all wine to the stateroom. A while back we took one of our C&A gift wines to the dining room and were astonished when we were told there would be a corkage fee. Let me get this straight...This is a gift from RC and you want to charge me to open this gift! I asked for the head waiter and argued with him on the issue and he reluctantly waived the corkage fee. From then on we always had our wine gift delivered to the dining room. Made no sense whatsoever. Now with the no corkage fee, I assume the matter goes away for good. That appears to be true, at least based on our recent experience on Enchantment. We brought 4 bottles of wine to the MDR and there was no mention of corkage fees. Totally agree with you, before it felt like being 'nickel-and-dimed over a gift!
