On October 1 I had 4 cruises booked, a B2B Conquest 10/12 & 10/19, a Freedom on Dec 13 and NCL Epic on Jan 25.

I also had booked 10 days in AI in Playa after New Years, a week in Panama in February, a week in Punta Cana in March, and a week on Roatan in May. I just added a week in Turks & Caicos for early September.

I don't like winters in NY anymore. Can't get away enough, some day I hope to be a real snow bird.

Same here, we left New England 10 plus years ago, never went back north, even in summer, except layovers at JFK!:D

Where did you book in Turks & Caicos?

Have you joined our roll call yet? If not, please do- we'd love to have you!

So, I thought we had about finished cruising for 2014. Got 3 short cruises in, one early in the year, two in late summer/fall. We tend to cruise off-season because it's cheaper. We generally stick to the west-coast cruises because DH hates to fly.

Then, I realized we had a Future Cruise Certificate from NCL we got in early 2011 that was going to expire soon. By the time I added extra costs in potential flights and hotels to try a different itinerary available with NCL, the only one that really fit well was the Mexican Riviera over New Year's. Gee, darn. So, we booked that.

Then, we got offered the special $25 Inside / $35 OV special rate for the 2n Imagination. Since we already had the one at the end of December, I booked us for the one at the end of January. Oh, and I got one of the sideways inside cabins that I was interested in seeing. That's 2.

Then, after ruminating on it for another couple of days, the offer was still available, so we booked the other 2n cruise on Imagination for Dec. 18th. That's right, just 10 days before our NCL cruise. I splurged and got the OV for $35 each. After all, it also came with $50 OBC. That's 3.

Yesterday, we got offered the Pack & Play rate. I found a cruise that leaves at the end of February on Miracle 7n Mexican Riviera in an Extended Balcony for $120/pp - with $100 OBC. Oh, and not only an extended balcony, but one of the 'bowling alley' cabins on the Veranda deck. You had better believe I jumped on that one also. That's 4 cruises in the next 90 days.

Wanna_Cruize,

You should be allowed to book as many as you want, but there should be a law against telling your fellow addicts about it and making us jealous!

The most I have had booked at one time is seven, but now I only have two booked.........:o

Yep, I signed up for all the role calls. Has anyone decided if we should do a cabin-crawl? I booked one of the sideways cabins on the Upper deck. I'm excited to see it. Also, since we're doing the 2n itinerary on Dec. 18th also, I'll have the skinny on exactly what's offered when/where. My big hope is that Cheers is offered on the 2n itinerary. I'm hoping it is, because the latest Q&A has dropped the exclusion language that used to be there for the 2n cruises.

What's the different between "Pack & Go" & "Pack & Play"?

The Pack & Play offer is (apparently) a casino offer, at least that's what some other posters have said. I do know it isn't offered to everyone, because DH & I who are both Platinum each had it in our VIFP special offer section, but our adult children don't have that offer listed. Also, once I booked the cruise utilizing the Pack & Play rate under my VIFP number, the offer is no longer available to me to book, so it seems to be one per person. I don't know if the Pack & Go rates are limited to one booking per person or not. The Pack & Play came with OBC also, which I don't think the Pack & Go rates generally have.

I have an Omaha Steaks Foam shipping container I can fill with snow and FedEx to you from our next NY snow storm..........BTW, Alaska has sight markers high up on their highways lampposts so plows and drivers can avoid hitting them during drifts. I hope I never experience an Alaskan winter with temps in Fairbanks down to 50 or 60 below Zero F. Cruising there in the summer months is fine though.

  • 2 weeks later...

Yep, it's official. I AM CRAZY.

Just booked another cruise - DH had his Pack & Play offer that was going to expire today, so I got a Cove Balcony on Magic in May for $120 - Crazy prices, for sure. First time on Magic, first Cove balcony, first time cruising from Texas. Lots of first. I just couldn't let it get away at that price. It's going to make a great Christmas surprise for my hubby, that's for sure!
