FRIZZYAAF Posted December 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2014 Does anyone know what TV channels the ship gets? Either in the rooms or bars. We are cruising over New Years and want to watch the bowl games. Thanks!
Yazoo cruiser Posted December 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2014 On the Dream, we got ABC, CBS and NBC in our cabins but no ESPN. They mighy have them on at the sports bar. On our previous cruises, sometimes they have college games on and others they do not. I guess it is up to the cruise director what is shown in the public areas. poison7fl Posted December 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2014 Channels differ, but they usually have the bowl games. If you ask, they even set up large screens in some of the lounges, if they don't already have plans... It is a big beer day $$$ for them, so they usually plan this out. ccruisequeen Posted December 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2014 Sugar bowl will be shown on New Years Day on ESPN. Buckeye fans will be stuck in the sports bar. I still cruise for Warm Chocolate Melting Cake (with 2 sugar-free vanilla ice-creams)
SadieN Posted December 11, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 11, 2014 West Coast cruises might get West Coast feeds. The Miracle Hawaii cruise is getting SoCal feeds. One was from Ventura.
SNJCruisers Posted December 11, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 11, 2014 Sugar bowl will be shown on New Years Day on ESPN. Buckeye fans will be stuck in the sports bar. Yes, but the real question is whether ESPN Latin America will be showing the Sugar Bowl, which of course is American Football. The ESPN feed on the cruise ship is usually full of Futbol.....otherwise known as soccer.
Davey Wavey Posted December 11, 2014 #10 Share Posted December 11, 2014 Sugar bowl will be shown on New Years Day on ESPN. Buckeye fans will be stuck in the sports bar. They can and will show the main bowl games on screens in all the bar areas and casino.
