Texancruisers Posted December 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 25, 2014 My DW and I are going on a b2b out of Galveston on Jan. 4th. We are going to Cozumel, Falmouth, George Town, Belize City and Roatan. What is the VERY best beach for us to spend a few hours enjoying??? Also, what restaurants do you recommend? We really enjoy Pancho's Backyard in Cozumel. What else??? Thanks!!!!:D

sidekick3_cruiser Posted December 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 26, 2014 I absolutely LOVED Seven Mile Beach when we stopped in George Town while aboard the Navigator. We took a taxi to this fantastic restaurant called Alfresco's which has a beach entry spot right behind it. There were maybe 3 other couples there as far as I could literally see, and the food at Alfresco's was the best food I had all week. I did not want to leave that beach at all! reedprincess Posted December 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 26, 2014 Definitely post on the forums for each port of call, rather than here which is about the cruise line. Each port has its own forum, you can find lots of info. You may also want to check TripAdvisor for info on each port.
cb at sea Posted December 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 26, 2014 A guidebook on Caribbean ports will be invaluable! Libraries have them, if you prefer not to buy one. A bit of research will enhance your time ashore. You can pick exactly the right place to spend your day!
