WestLakeGirl Posted December 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2014 There are many companies in many countries offering cruise insurance, and each company has multiple policies, you won't get a single definitive answer
KirkNC Posted December 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2014 It depends on the insurance you purchase.

attilamom1217 Posted December 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 30, 2014 Twice we had to see the ship's doctor. The first time, our travel insurance covered it as they were considered primary. the second time, the travel insurance was secondary. we sent the bill to our regular medical insurance. turns out, our medical insurance covers international doctors as in network since we have no choice who to see. however, if they had not covered it, our travel insurance would have - as long as we sent them the bill and the explanation of benefits denying reimbursement. for both above, we had travel guard.
