Loving your review, and that table with the pole....well, I can just imagine me and some of my friends "back in the day" when we were young and agile. We would have had a blast with that:D

Oh yeah we definitely had fun with that pole at Fat Tuesday. Who knew that a wooden pole would be so much fun....haha.

Did you ever go to the sports bar? If so, can you tell me how it compares to the Sunshine?

 

 

The Carnival Dream doesn't have a sports bar. The only location onboard where there were TV's showing sports was at the Casino Bar which is a bad location because it's right along promenade where it is noisy and not many seats

I order all my glasses online from a company called Zenni Optical. Frames and lenses start at $6.99 for a complete pair. I've ordered probably 10 pairs of glasses and sunglasses over the past few years.

It is hard to get used to. I actually didn't use it much on the cruise. I plan on taking it with me to Mardi Gras next month when I travel to New Orleans

After trivia we headed out to the Sunset Bar area. The Sunset Bar is on Deck 10 aft right by the Aft pool.

OK now within our KREWE there was this big joke between myself and Sam. Sam got one over on me with the Chicken Hat and stuff but I would have the last laugh. It is a known fact and big joke among the KREWE that Sam can never find his cabin while he is cruising so I come up with an idea to help him find his cabin. I made this sign. I put the STOP sign on it with reflectors and Christmas lights. Dana added some really bright strobe lights. I mailed it to her weeks before the cruise and she hid it from Sam. Then the first night of the cruise after Sam went to bed Dana put it on the door. It was a big surprise for him the next morning when he opened the cabin door

One of my favorite spots for lunch or a snack on the Dream is one Deck 5 Promenade. It is the salad bar that they have set-up just past the Ocean Plaza area.

So after strolling around the ship for awhile we decided to head back to our cabin to sit on the balcony for a while. It was so peaceful out here

Does anyone have any idea what this may be??? We were out in the middle of nowhere miles from any sight of land and this little sailboat just appeared. I zoomed way in and it doesn't look like there is anyone onboard. Any guesses as to what it may be???

 

 

I could just sit and stare at the ocean, sun, and water for hours. This sight never gets old

Thank You. Dana and Sam are cruising this coming Sunday on the Dream again and she has already put this sign in their truck so that they don't forget it....haha

So today was the Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Past Guest Party so we headed down to the Encore Theater to get our free drinks...haha

 

 

I am not a fan of the Fun Ship Special drink so I ordered 2 Bud Lights from one of the bar staff walking around. I gave her $5.00 and she kept the Bud Light coming :p My favorite part of the Past Guest party is when you get to hoop and holler for the ships that you have cruised on.

 

Our cruise director on this cruise was Hennie Van Heerden. I have cruised with Hennie twice on previous cruises and he is definitely not my favorite :rolleyes:

So after the Past Guest Party we headed back to the cabin to get cleaned up and showered because tonight was our second formal night. We walked in the cabin at the most perfect time. As we walked in the door this beautiful sight greeted us

So once we were all cleaned up for dinner we headed down to the Scarlett Dining Room.

 

The next time I decide to decorate our door I will use something other than packing tape. By about day 3 of the cruise the tape wasn't holding on the door anymore so I had to put it on the wall next to our door.

 

I will be back later with some more photos but for now I guess I better do some actual work :) ;) :p
