Royal Princess Skywalkers

We sailed the Regal in Oct, had all the platinum/elite lounge in club 6.

We also had our CC M&G there too.

Its a terrible venue, it looks like it was an after thought on the placement.

Last empty space available onboard, "well I guess we have no other place to put this lounge so here goes".

I miss Skywalkers.

We had the same reaction to club 6 on the Royal. The elite/platinum cocktail hours were not nearly as enjoyable as on those ships with Skywalkers -- the space seemed much smaller (and therefore more crowded :() and most of all we missed the views. We even had to open the shades since it seems that the staff kept them closed (maybe to keep from reminding you there was no view except of waves relatively up close and personal). All in all, very disappointing.

I totally agree. Club 6 is a very difficult room to hold a Meet and Greet because of the lay out. It's nearly impossible for everyone in the room to actually see a speaker or host.

Club 6 is, as said, an awful lounge to hold a M&G or any other kind of meeting. It's very narrow with a weird wall about ⅓ of the way (from the Princess Theater entrance) that divides the room. On the Royal, the air system is inadequate and the vents and smoke from the Casino next door means that Club 6 stinks of stale smoke. Sit down and you almost need to get your clothes cleaned to get the odor out from just sitting there. Princess is aware of this problem and will (hopefully) fix it during the Royal's first dry dock.
