Tampa fog

This doesn't usually affect flights. It affects ship departures and entries into the bay. We have been delayed on several cruises from Tampa. One year we left a day late and didn't dock on the return until 1PM. Many people missed flights leaving that day. The authorities are justifiably conservative with shipping since a ship hit the bay bridge a while back.

We are heading to this cruise, but the rolling backup on 95 south (for about 100 miles) had us stopping in Savanah instead of Jacksonville!!! We came from Maryland and it was clear sailing (hehe) until we got to South Carolina.

I hope our hotel in Tampa can let us stay another night if need be. Hay, no matter where we are as long as dh can see the playoff games he is a happy camper!
