You land on solid ground. Do a search on YouTube for Labadee Zip Line. You will see several videos.

I'd imagine these are from a DSLR. Specifically, with a polarizing filter on the lens. The polarizing filter will cut through the usual haze we all see for a clearer shot, giving the sky a consistent deep blue and the water a clearer bright look. Up close on the water, instead of a glare/reflection the filter will let the shot "see through" the water and make that impressive look. Colors, in general, will pop more - you may not think of it but light reflects off you all the same.

 

A simple way to achieve this on the cheap with any camera... Throw your (non prescription) sunglasses in front of the camera and rotate it in a circle. You should see the colors change as you do it.

We're going with two other couples on Jan 17th on Oasis (Western) They have never been on any new big ship let alone Oasis class or Labadee. Your pics should be a good intro to what lies in store.
