My mistake but I thought you were in Saint John. :o

I just heard our local weather and they revised the forecast. We slightly north of Boston are predicted to get another 12" of snow (30 cm). Some areas just slightly south of Boston are expecting about 18" MORE inches. We have a lot of snow around here!!!! :D

It's funny but with all this snow and now it coming frequently, I'm relieved I'm home and not worrying about canceled flights and backed up airports. I'd be anxious worry would I get to FLL (or home) and how much dragging around would it involve. As long as I keep power, I'm happy to be home.

Nope we are not in Saint John. We are God's country in the summer. My plants and gardens are very happy. At least 10 degrees warmer (Celsius)

In the winter, we get a much harder time. Saint John has the benefit of the fog and we get the benefits of the Bay of Fundy, sans fog.

but Marley is happy. someone should be in the house ;)

The wind is howling, and it's freezing out, but we only got a dusting of snow today. More is coming Sunday night but we will be out of here on a land vacation by then.

Be careful walking in the snow and ice everyone. I've heard of some nasty spills so stay warm and safe.

So glad to read that so far everyone weathered the big storm with no damage or loss of power. I hope the next one is equally benign, even though dumping still more of the white stuff.

We've been lucky (?) here in OH this year with below normal snowfall. We really need more to keep the farmers happy. This weekend will possibly bring us between 8 & 12 inches over 2 days. I have a cute little electric snowblower that handles 10 to 12 inches in the driveway without too much trouble (now that I have figured out the best way to deal with that long orange cord). It's kind of fun as long as I'm dressed for it and the wind isn't strong.

Ruth, glad to hear about your new furbaby. All of my cats have either been shelter cats or have showed up and adopted me. Wonderful smart and grateful kitties.

What is the weather usually like in Saint John in May or early June?

It's usually nice. May can be cool and wet and it can be sunny and warm. I do all my planting and potting in May. Sometimes I am drenched and sometimes I am enjoying the sun.

By June, it's usually very nice weather :D
