colombiangirl Posted January 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2015 I just updated the cruise critic app on my phone and hate it. It's difficult to read and use. I'm going to have to use the desktop version.

funinthesun86 Posted January 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Oh No! Did they mess it up like they did with Tapatalk? I switched to the CC app when they upgraded Tapatalk. I have a Kindle. Iamcruzin Posted January 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2015 I have a Kindle. Is there a difference between the CC app and Tapatalk? I dislike Tapatalk. I have both apps for my kindle and my iPhone. The apps on the kindle seem to be the exact same. The Tapatalk app on my phone is different with the Tapatalk being totally unusable, at least to me, with the latest update a few weeks ago. The CC App on my phone seems to be the same as what I have on my kindle. I have not received an update on either recently. I can definitely navigate the CC App on both devices. Rare ghstudio Posted January 28, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) On my iPad and android phone the cc app shows notifications from 2 years ago that I can find no way to get rid of; I have some subscription to something I have no interest in and I have no clue how to stop the subscription or subscribe to anything else;and I have the ability to see every update in every forum...which I can't believe has value to anyone who isn't bedridden and very bored :). Oh...and there is no help option that I can find. I guess the use of the app must be intuitively obvious to most users. this is likely the wrong place to post this, but I can't find any right place.... Pacificdaze Posted January 28, 2015 #9 Share Posted January 28, 2015 For ghstudio, on my iPad version of CC, there are 3 dots in the top right corner. If I tap them, the dropdown menu has a Subscribe/unsubscribe option. Perhaps this will enable you to delete the forums no longer of interest to you. Queen of Oakville Posted January 28, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 28, 2015 I have the CC app on my ipad. Can't see any messages. I see the X forum, but no threads at all. I have the same app on my iPhone - a little confusing to navigate but at least I can see threads. don't know what the issue is with my ipad. I see others here posting with "posted from my ipad using the CC app". I might try re-installing the app to see if it helps.
