Love sailing out of NOLA and seeing the city 'scape. Just wondering if we can do it from our balcony, or will we have to find another spot.

Looking towards the front of the ship is your cabin on the left side or the right side of the ship?

On the right, so we won't be facing the city, as we depart New Orleans. I answered my on question! Sorry for posting the question too quickly.

Port side of ship will see the city, left side facing forward. :)

The trip out to the Gulf on the mighty Mississippi is very winding - at any given time you could find yourself facing the opposite direction of where you just came from and where you are going. :) The trip can take 8 hours, you know that, right? ;):) It's spectacular at night when the oil rigs are all lit up.

Thanks, Karen. We are coming back to RC after Carnival cruising a few times. We're starting to get really excited!
