St. Patricks Day

Not sure about RCI, but we were on a Holland America ship one year on St. Patrick's Day and there were green decorations everywhere. The dining room was filled with shamrocks and the waiters looked like leprechauns in their green vests and hats.

Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

I was on Explorer of the Seas on St. Patrick's Day a few years ago, and what they did was have a sing-along of Irish drinking songs in a bar with a seating capacity of less than 200, and it looked like more than 1,000 passengers tried to cram themselves into it.

I didn't see any green beer.

If you want a St. Patrick's Day party at sea bring your own. I don't know about RCI but Princess did nothing except have a shamrock cake on display in front of a dining room. The stupid / maddening part was every day they had drink of the day specials: 1 beer, 1 shot & 1 mixed drink. I think it was Corona & pina colodas but I don't remember the shot. I was like, really? You couldn't have made it Guinness, Jamesons & a Nutty Irishman for the day?
