Deployment Schedule 2016-2017. Let the guessing begin

I don't believe those itineraries have been released yet.

 

I hope you're right, I'm booking for 2017, but wanted to see of the itinerary has changed from this year.

So if I'm reading RCCL.com and this board correctly, this is no longer the Harwich to Boston TA and the Tampa to Harwich TA? I thought these were very popular and would continue. :( This is a bummer!

 

RCI have announced an 8 ship European deployment.

 

Harmony is released in Europe as a new build there.

Brilliance was deployed from Tampa to Barcelona.

Serenade was deployed to Copenhagen from PE.

Navigator was deployed from PE to Southampton

Independence was deployed from PE to Southampton

 

Vision will sail from Tampa to Barcelona and on to Venice most likely.

The Rhapsody TA from Brazil is in the system from last years deployment.

Jewel is going to Barcelona and then Rome from dry dock and has not been deployed. It is unclear if the dry dock is in Cadiz or if she will do a crossing.

 

There are not any sailings from Harwich in the 2016-17 deployment.

Yes apparently no Harwich for 2016 at all.

 

Maybe because there were 5% less cruisers from the UK in 2014:

Maybe because people would rather go from Venice than Harwich (I think I would!) so they have Jewel there instead of Brilliance in the UK. I had the 12 day Norway and Iceland cruise that they did once a year on my future wish list. I think it will either be 2015 or not at all unless they bring it back one day. (or suddenly announce that Ovation will be in Harwich which I think is vanishingly unlikely)

Thanks. I've done the Harwich - Boston TA and it's fabulous! I was really looking to do the Tampa - Harwich TA. I'm 30 minutes from the port of Tampa and really liked the idea of the Ireland ports, plus the easy one-way flight back home from London.

At least I really like the Med sailings offered by Brilliance otS in 2016 - the Grand med routes out of Barcelona are a little modified compared to 2015, with Valletta as a new port - and some sailings also include Mykonos, Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar! [emoji5]

I find their choice to add Tampa and PE sailings to Brilliance and Navigator at the last minute interesting.

 

They added 2, 4 night sailings to Cozumel for Brilliance to take her to Europe a little later and that explains why they booked the 7th of June at Gibraltar just the week prior.

They added an 8 night Eastern Caribbean for Navigator delaying her TA from PE as well.

Both decisions seem to be made in conjunctions with the Jewel re-deployment decision just the week before.

 

That has maybe added some nice cabin availability for those planning B2B sailings prior to their TA.

There is no way to know that. I guess they are following the numbers pretty closely. They could actually wait quite a while if they wanted to, but the port schedules are still booked at least.

 

The ship sure looks to be progressing nicely on the thread covering the progress at the shipyard, so I can not imagine she will be late.

 

I found it interesting that my 'personal cruise consultant' called again today and stated that 500 cabins are deposited for the Harmony TA in October.

I see that Adventure of the Seas is sailing to Aruba, Bonaire, Curacae in the Fall of 2016. Do any of you seasoned watchers know if that will likely be the case in the Spring 2017?
