Quantum- Embarkation Lunch Crowd

As I think most would agree - the main buffet on most cruise lines can be crowded and chaotic on embarkation day.

 

On Quantum.....

 

If you wanted the least crowded, least chaotic option upon boarding....

 

Is it Sorrento's, or Jamie's Italian? I think they are both open for lunch on Embarkation right?

Restaurants start to open 11:30 for lunch - Windjammer and Cafe two70, and from noon also Devinly Decadence, Jamie's Italian ($$) and Izumi($$)

No Sorrento's at Quantum.

I did't found Windjammet that crowded.

Sorry - Yes there is Sorrento's at Quantum, but as I remeber it wasen't open for lunch

We ate at Divinely Decadence for embarkation lunch and it was calm and quiet there. We were able to sit and relax. Food wasn't bad but it was probably our least favorite meal on the ship though.

Our first time on the Quantum, what is the difference between the food served at Cafe270 and Devinely decadence? They are both complimentary, right???

Divinely Decadent has things like stew, enchilada casserole, salads. When we went for lunch it was sit down service (breakfast is a buffet). For Cafe 270 you stand in line and order. It has hot made to order sandwiches like fresh carved roast beef, paninis, sliced fresh fruit, various desserts. There is also a "design your own chopped salad" station so you can get a chicken caesar salad etc.. We thought Cafe 270 was great. They also have "to go" boxes.

We ate in 270. Had the roast beef sandwich, then took a leisurely stroll through the windjammer for freshly baked cookies.
