Morecruisesplz Posted February 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2015 We're cruising for the first time on Oasis on the 28th. We booked this inside cabin (10575) but are now wondering if the area outside the cabin (between the cabin and the elevators) is open to the promenade below? Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide.
Merion_Mom Posted February 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Your INTERIOR cabin is next to the last Central Park balcony cabin, but like any other INTERIOR cabin, it is entirely interior. The only opening is your door, which will open into the corridor.
Morecruisesplz Posted February 12, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted February 12, 2015 I was hoping you would answer! Thank you. Of course I understand what you posting re: an interior stateroom. My question is about the space outside the cabin around the elevators. Are those walls solid walls on the Oasis or are they open to the areas below. (I'm thinking of the chairs facing an open balcony in the area between the elevator banks such as you might find at the library and/or the internet area on other ships.) There are open areas between the elevator banks. However, because of the increased width of Oasis, these areas are farther from your stateroom than on other ships. Duke Mazer Posted February 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2015 So you exit the Elevator that is it's own area then you would to right and you will next find the Stairs then you will see an doorway that takes you into the hallway. Cabins to right and left. No open spaces the cabin is in a hallway.

Yes, there are "centrums" on Oasis like Voyager/Freedom class that enclose the elevator banks.
