Carnival Liberty Sunk? Prank?

While playing around looking in google maps, I zoomed in looking at the port of Miami. I was scrolling across looking at a cruise ship then looking across at a Carnival ship then up ahead noticed something. I zoomed farther in and its the Carnival Liberty's tail end sticking out of the water! Looks like it is sunk!!!

It has to do with the way the different images are laced together to form a "continuous" picture. As you can see, a ship was docked on the port side for one picture, then the starboard for the other. It is not always a seamless melding of all the photos.. Makes for some interesting viewing though...

Well, that is certainly a freaky image ... the good news is that the water at the port is nowhere near deep enough for that to have occurred ... and the way the media "loves" Carnival, I imagine if this had truly occurred, they'd be flying banners from 747s announcing the "tragedy at the port" ...

Oh my gosh that's fricken hilarious! I see on my googlemaps exactly what you see as well. :p :D

I'm glad someone can actually see what I see!! It must be certain browsers are something? For anyone that can see it by the link I posted, open it up and scroll around. Zoom out a little and it looks like another sunken ship out from that one.

I use Mozilla/Firefox. Is that what you are using?

So are you saying that if you scroll out you'll see "another" sunken ship just like it? I'll have to try that.

If you zoom out just a bit, on the other side of Dodge Island from that image of Liberty there's what looks like a container ship with about it's front 1/3 missing/sunk.
