How long to get to Tampa Skybridge after setting sail?

Does anyone know how long it normally takes to get to the Tampa Skybridge from the pier after setting sail? We're leaving from Tampa in a few weeks and I've been told not to miss it. I want to make sure it doesn't coincide with dinner.

It took us about 2 hours on Radiance.

when we did it the Captain/Master mentioned the estimated bridge time SEVERAL times b4 sailing.

Folks with early dining on the fixed schedule were out of luck ... either eat or see the bridge. But this depends on your departure time ...

The distance from the pier to the bridge (constrained by the channel) is roughly 30 miles. The ship speed is slow for the first few miles then comes up to about 20 . .

so a longer technical reply, but 2 hours is a good guess.

{this was the port I sailed from when I began my sailing career as a CG officer. Was there for the sinking of CGC BLACKTHORNE in the shadow of the bridge and the collision of the freighter and the bridge causing the bridge to collapse. early 80 was a bad time for ships in that neighborhood}
