Place To Eat Near Port

Any recommendations on where or where not to eat while in port? I want some authentic food.

you are gonna find burgers and some fish dishes . . .

 

Paradise on the water front is OK, right across the street try Guy Harvey's place

 

Paradise used to have a turtle burger at lunch but I don't see that today ... they still offer turtle steak at dinner. We recall having turtle cordon bleu for US thanksgiving one year ... memorable.

When we are in Grand Cayman next week, we are going on the Taste of George Town tour. The stops include Guy Harvey's, Singh's Roti Shop and Casanova's. They are all within walking distance of the port.

 

I will be able to report back on the food after the tour.

We spent part of a day snorkeling Eden Rock and had lunch at Paradise Restaurant. Food was very good but service was not that good. They acted like they didn't care if they served you.
