Best bar to get a mudslide on the Escape?? Haven't seen it listed on any menus but I know they can make them!

In January, my DH ordered Mudslides from several different bars. I know we got them from the casino bar, O'Sheehans, outside bars on the Waterfront and the pool bar to name a few. At the same time I would be ordering BBCs or Mango Meltdowns.

Escape is a great ship. Have a wonderful cruise:D

Hi. This will be my first cruise with Norwegian, so just have a quick question. Can anyone confirm for me if vermouth and sherry are available in the bars? Thanks.

Vermouth yes....I do not know about Sherry....As I found out on my Getaway cruise in May that the list of liquor available on the menu's that are posted here and are used on all the ships does not include all the liquor that the ship has to offer. I was under the impression before the cruise that some of my favorites that they served in the past were no longer available. Once I got onboard the ship I realized that was not correct.

Have a great first cruise on NCL! You will have a great time!

OK I had to add this one to the list. Found it on the web after the late Prince passed.

"Purple Rain" cocktail:

1.5oz vodka

1oz Blue Curacao

1oz cranberry

1oz pineapple

.5oz Grenadine

(Combine all ingredients and serve over ice in rocks/cocktail glass)

I just made one for the wife this evening and she proclaimed "this is a keeper, put it on the UBP list!"

and so I did..

This is one I will definitely have to try!

OK boys and girls.

Got around to finally adding all ingredients for everything on my spreadsheet. Also dropped a few ordinary drinks off the list (self explanatory ones) and added a few of the "Gems" including:

GOOMBAY SMASH

PINK SQUIRREL

I'll add other cocktails etc. as needed

Enjoy

Thank you so much for making this spreadsheet! We are sailing one week from today, and it will be sailing with me!

Wow - great spreadsheet WWDiver!

Anyone know what brand ginger brew CL uses?

Or what makes the Spicy Passion Mojito spicy?

My favorite is an extra spicy mule. Our neighborhood pub makes an infused vodka with rosemary, peppercorns and garlic. We request that infused vodka in the mule... It doesn't taste like any of the infused flavors, just extra spicy and it's great!

The ginger beer on the Escape was Goslings. The mojito you're referring to at the Sugarcane bar was great, and the heat came from Ancho Reyes chile liqueur. An even better one was the Toro Toro at the Food Republic made with tequila.

Funny story about the Mango Meltdown: on my first time on NCL, i wanted my favorite drink that i used to get on Carnival, a Kiss on the Lips, so I asked the bartender for one, and he never heard of it. I described it, and he said, "Oh, we call that a Mango Meltdown!" LOL was I embarrassed! So some drinks have different names on different cruise lines.

Thanks for the list! I downloaded it to Dropbox on my ipad so i can take it on my next cruise.

Let me try to post it again.

Are you trying to open with Microsoft Excel?

Anyone else having issues?

If you can't get it to download shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll send directly to you

Would it be possible for someone to please email me the list? I am not able to download it.

Thanks:)
