2 connecting cabins generally is not that more expensive than 1 quad occupancy cabins. We always take two connecting cabins on RCCL, and we have 2 little ones. I want to say it costs us about 200 per passenger more. Benefits also include double shipboard credit, depending on perk or travel agent, two balconies (which allow for the center to be opened depending on ship), two bathrooms, two sets of normal beds, and over 300 sq feet of living space (depending on ship). If you can swing it, definatly go for two cabins.
