OhioGirl Posted March 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2015 We are sailing in November on the Jade, and are traveling in a group (7 virgin cruisers!) and the rest of us are pro's.... We are trying to come up with a funny t-shirt for everyone to wear to the ship...Any Ideas?

janetz Posted March 2, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2015 Check this site. There are a lot of great ideas and the shirts are not expensive. http://www.vistaprint.com/custom-tshirts.aspx?GP=3%2f2%2f2015+3%3a25%3a43+PM&GPS=3446122608&GNF=
Rare sandinmyshoes Posted March 2, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 2, 2015 I like "Ship Ship Hooray!" I came up with that for one of our cruises and it went over well. Another I saw was the "So&So's Family Sea-esta!" I think both of those are cute ideas for tshirts.
minnesotamamafish Posted March 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2015 My favorite cruise T-shirt says "Keep Calm and Cruise On" like the British posters.

bowlinmoe Posted March 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Would NCL make you change your shirt if it had obscene language on it?
OhioGirl Posted March 3, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks for all the ideas! I came up with (but not set on it!) Cruise Junkie for the pros...and "I'm a Cruise Virgin" for the newbies and on the back... Boozin & Cruisin The Caribbean!

Rare Laszlo Posted March 3, 2015 #15 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Would NCL make you change your shirt if it had obscene language on it? Not sure, but back in HS I had a t-shirt that said Disco Sucks and the principle made me turn it inside out LOL
Va. Plumber Posted March 3, 2015 #16 Share Posted March 3, 2015 I have done this in the past for our family. I am sure there are screen printing shops in your area. I printed out picture of the Dawn from online and local shop printed it and message on shirts.
fridaythe13th Posted March 3, 2015 #17 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Thanks for all the ideas! I came up with (but not set on it!) Cruise Junkie for the pros...and "I'm a Cruise Virgin" for the newbies and on the back... Boozin & Cruisin The Caribbean! I like the front for sure. Not so much the back. I had a few made with the ship name and itinerary on the back.

Rare FitchburgWIFamily Posted March 3, 2015 #19 Share Posted March 3, 2015 I’m from the upper Midwest….and if we were making tee-shirts for an NCL cruise it would be like: Eat like a Norwegian = soak fish in lye, cover with butter, and pretend you like it Dance like a Norwegian = sit on the side and watch, somewhat disapprovingly Party like a Norwegian = sit in living room in uncomfortable silence waiting for someone to tell an anecdote you can argue over Cruise like a Norwegian = For the length of the cruise, try not to be so Norwegian You get the gist. BeachMartini Posted March 4, 2015 #21 Share Posted March 4, 2015 I LITERALLY just ordered a tank top off Etsy that says "Time To Get Shipfaced" with an anchor on it :)
AlaskaAtLast Posted March 4, 2015 #22 Share Posted March 4, 2015 How about "You never forget your first time NCL Jade November 2015" for the newbies and "Doing it again NCL Jade November 2015" for the pros. You could still do the Boozin' and Cruisin' the Caribbean on the back and all the shirts could be the same color.
SteveH2508 Posted March 4, 2015 #23 Share Posted March 4, 2015 Bow on the front; aft on the back; port on the left sleeve; starboard on the right sleeve - an aide-memoire for land-lubbers (you could add bilge as well but I leave that up to you;)).
