From one Straight to another...that storm moved over to the top of the South Island and Cook Strait was described today as "havoc"

One of the Interisland ferries was stranded in Cook Strait for 6 hours battling the seas.

I have been waiting for this day for months, and one phone call from a distressed friend in need, meant I missed the ship arriving.

 

You captured the moment for me I thank you so much :)))))

 

I saw Diamond Princess depart at 9pm we gave her a good send off, but was

disappointed the Captain didn't sound the horn :(

It might hv been due to it being late in the evening.
