It's not so bad... (Latitudes 250 pt Travel Atlas)

I finally received my travel atlas today, and don't understand why everyone's complaining about it (j/k...yes, I do!)

 

After all, the maps are from 2010 MapQuest (does that company even exist anymore?).

 

The good news is that according to the ANSI standard z39.48.1992 (Permanence of Paper), the materials in the book "meet established criteria for their preservation for several hundred years without significant deterioration under normal use and storage conditions."

 

 

Whew! And I was worried about what might become of it, a couple of hundred years after I'm gone....

 

 

Thanks NCL...it was worth every one of the tens of thousands of dollars I spent earning it. :cool:

I think that instead of the Atlas, NCL should give you a discount for a cruise. What about the following.

 

250 points - 25% discount

500 points - 50% discount

1000 points - a free cruise.

 

NCL could decide to offer the discount for only one cruise or for every cruise after you reach the milestone. The exception would be when you reach the 1000 point milestone because you would be cruising for free each time.

They now have a very "special" spot in the drawer :p

I think an additional discount would be nice or some OBC for fun!
