The weather is predicted to be windy and the tides high which is basically stopping the QE from getting under the Bridge (very tight apparently) to get to port. They needed to make th ecall early so to arrange the alternate plans for the 550 pax getting off and the 750 pax getting on.:D

600 +passengers had to take bullet train from Kobe to Tokyo 3hr trip

luggage supposed to be transported by truck 8 or 10 or 12 hours no one knew

Clear information was not forthcoming

many mistakes made onboard by tour desk staff who claimed "they are the experts"

Many had to change flights and arrangements

Some had to struggle with their luggage and get it onto crowded bullet train where luggage space does not exist because they simply could not trust it would be delivered in time for their flight

All in all it was not a well thought out or organised process and the Japanese staff shoreside had no command of English making the whole situation much more stressful
