Avis in Whittier

We will be renting a car from Avis when we arrive in Whittier and will be dropping it in Anchorage. My question is, "how do I get my luggage from the ship to the rental car location?" Is it close enough to carry my bags? Is there a porter available?

Anyone familiar with this I could certainly use some help.

It depends on you packing light and having rolling luggage. I wouldn't be "carrying" everything.

 

No there aren't any porters available.

 

Alternative, if there are 2 people, then leave one with the bags, then come back on get them.

 

Avis is less than a 10 minute walk- with no mobility restrictions. Walk off the ship, turn left, cross the bridge, keep walking, Avis is on the left. Big sign. Located near the Harbor Store. They open at 8am, so if you want an early start, you would have no problem getting out the 9am tunnel.
