B_K Posted March 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2015 :) In looking at this cabin type online - 360 view - it appears as if there is almost no room between the foot of the bed and the wall so the person sleeping on the side of the bed closest to the balcony would have to "sidle" sideways for excursions during the night to the bathroom - very important consideration for a particular demographic.... Can someone who has stayed in a vista sweet enlighten me as whether this is really the case? Thanks, BK
PathfinderEss Posted March 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2015 No you don't have to go side ways to pass by the foot of the bed and wall when walking to the bathroom. It is close though, just walking by normally.
sail7seas Posted March 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2015 I've never slept in a Vista but have visited friends. There is ample room. Not TOO much, but enough.
Rare Crazy For Cats Posted March 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2015 We've stayed in a Vista suite on the Veendam. We found that there was enough room to move around.

galensgrl Posted March 25, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 25, 2015 (edited) 052 Veendam We booked this type cabin for our upcoming cruise and I wondered the same thing about the space issue. According to the vantage points of your pictures it looks more spacious here than it does in the pictures on Hal's site. Thanks for sharing. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 25, 2015 #8 Share Posted March 25, 2015 You are welcome. Sorry about the duplicate posts -- had trouble with the Internet yesterday.
sapper1 Posted March 25, 2015 #9 Share Posted March 25, 2015 There is plenty of room to pass unencumbered but if two people try at the same time one has to flatten against the wall to let the other pass. Speaking from experience here.
Jim Avery Posted March 25, 2015 #10 Share Posted March 25, 2015 We had 213 on Veendam. Very comfortable cabin. Plenty of room at the foot of the bed. :D
