Ruby Princess San Pedro Boarding Time this Saturday?

Princess e-mail states that they won't start Embarkation this Saturday until 1:00 PM for the 7-day California Coastal does anyone know what time the Ruby started boarding last Saturday for the 7-day Mexico cruise? Since the setup is identical (Crown at Pier 93 and Ruby at Pier 92).

Unless there are issues with the arrival and disembarkation of the prior cruise passengers boarding always starts around Noon. We always arrive at 10:00 to 10:30. They start taking luggage at 9:30.

They send that notice out all the time. Arrive anytime after 10:30am and you'll be fine. You'll have to wait around until boarding at noon-ish, so if you prefer, arrive a little later. Just make sure you're there 90 mins. prior to launch time. :D

Checkin usually starts about 11am and boarding about noon for those with priority. Others a little later

We get that notice too for every cruise. Unless there's some planned deep cleaning, it's really to try to encourage passengers to arrive in shifts. I've never heard of port personnel checking to make sure you're not arriving earlier than your time.

 

In fact, out of the last three times we've arrived earlier than our "assigned" time, we've haven't even had more than one party in front of us in line.
