bermudafan8 Posted March 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2015 Getting ready to sail on the Dawn in April. We know she isn't one of the newest ships, but wondering if they changed the cabin lighting to require a card to activate / deactivate the cabin lights such as on the Breakaway? If so, is it possible for just a piece of paper to be in the slot to activate the lights or does it have to be a magnetic card? We sailed on the Breakaway but don't recall. Thanks in advance for your help!
cliffd64 Posted March 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2015 I don't believe the Dawn has the green lighting system that the Breakaway and Getaway have...

I doubt that it will ever be changed, that is a major electrical refit that is probably not cost effective.
garycarla Posted March 28, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 28, 2015 1 - On our last cruise, it did not need that. 2 - Even if it did, any credit card type card would do the same thing. 3 - It takes lots of work for them to add it to an old ship.
