Kettle on Eclipse

I have read sometime on cc that there are kettles on the Eclipse sailing out of Southampton. Can anybody confirm this is still the case. Thanks.:)

I'm not able to confirm or not but just wanted to join in as I would also be interested to know for sure...

 

I've also heard this is the case as its a very British thing to have tea/coffee making facility's in the room! I hope it is the case as we are on the eclipse in early May so that would be nice to have a cuppa in the morning without having to go get it or order through room service!

We had tea kettles last year sailing out of Southampton.

Yes, just on Eclipse sailings from Southampton. It is the sort of set up you get in UK hotels - kettle, teabags, coffee and sugar sachets, etc. And it is much appreciated!:)

We had them too. The British like their tea. I think it's a nice touch.

But only out of Southampton.

The kettles get stowed during or after the WB TA and the 6 months or so based in Miami.

We always get one, had one on the Infinity when we went to South America also on our T/A.just ask your room steward.

No tea kettles available for US cruise or Caribbean on Eclipse. We have always had one when sailing from Southampton. Most often available when sailing different Celebrity ships in European destinations such as the Med.

On the Eclipse TA last fall all cabins had them. I brought the Via Starbucks with me:) Excellent coffee before I have to venture out of the room. Stayed on for the Southern Carribean. If you ask they will leave it for that cruise. Then they store them in Miami.

And here I thought it was only Americans who use the possessive to make a word plural. Now I see the English do it, too! I am destroyed. ;)
