Rare POA1 Posted March 30, 2015 #177 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Love this! Are these the same folks that wave the LARGE white hands/gloves from one of the condo balconies? That was such a treat when we sailed in January. Everyone thought that was my family because I was waving so much with my yellow poncho!:) No. We're not the hands people. I'm not sure which building they're in.

rkacruiser Posted April 6, 2015 #182 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Just read on Captain Albert's blog that he was at the helm when Noordam sailed on March 30th. He was an emergency replacement for his colleague due to a family medical emergency. He was Master until Noordam reached St. Maarten, when someone else took command so that Captain Albert could return home for a very short stay. He is now aboard Prinsendam in his role as a training Captain.
