I really want to book the March 27 (12 day) cruise out of NJ. Is there any advantage in waiting to see about discounts or promotions? Or should I book now?

Usually the newest ships are excluded in price discounts/promotion. If you want this cruise, you should book now to get better choice of cabins.

We booked the cruise right after the one you want, and it already had several price increases. My TA told me don't wait for specials on the new ships. Price will only go up.

Sure it will go up as long as people are willing to pay royal any price they want.Wake up and beat royal at their own game.Just say no to high prices and they will come down.;):)

Is something wrong with the RCL website?

 

I decided to bit the bullet and book but can't get past the screen to pick your cabin. I click on balcony and it shows me the different categories (obstructed, etc) and I click on the one I want. Then a window pops open asking if I want to upgrade to a suite which I click on the "no thanks". Then on the top of the screen in red font it says something like "cannot access the information at this time. Try again later." Been trying on and off for hours using various browsers.

It's Saturday night. They do site maintenance on Saturday evenings which means the site is almost unusable. It will be back up and running by tomorrow morning.

Thanks I figured it may have something to do with Easter and the weekend. Will try again tomorrow!
