familycruzinnewbie Posted April 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Is there a way to see the layouts for the quad cabins? I am looking at Star, Pearl and Sun right now and I wasn't looking for a suite. Are there any categories or cabins you would choose or avoid? dexddd Posted April 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Is there a way to see the layouts for the quad cabins? I am looking at Star, Pearl and Sun right now and I wasn't looking for a suite. Are there any categories or cabins you would choose or avoid? What category are you looking at e.g. inside? Most NCL inside cabins have two beds on the floor, one attached to the wall, and one that springs up from under the other bed and then is either wall to wall beds or you have to ask the steward to make them into a U shape. There are a few insides that have two beds on the floor and two attached to the walls. The Star and Dawn have some of the ones with two on the wall in the new area on deck 12. familycruzinnewbie Posted April 8, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 8, 2015 I'd preferably be looking at outside or balcony. The Star did not seem to show any quad balconies. There were many categories listed for outside, but the photo shown was just the 2 person.
maggieworkman Posted June 8, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I've been reading about some quad rooms and I read something about quad interior rooms on the Sun that have the 2 twin beds and then a double sofa bed. But I can't find anything about them - like which rooms have this configuration. Any info? Thanks, Maggie
computerworks Posted June 8, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2015 The Star has NO balcony cabins that sleep 4...max is three. The alternative on the Star for a veranda with 4 is a minisuite

maggieworkman Posted June 15, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Thanks for the picture. That isn't a bad setup for 4 on the Sun. It's better than the setup for 4 on the Pearl!!! But I read there was a setup with a double sofa bed?? Maggie
Rare kjquilts Posted June 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2015 Thanks for the picture. That isn't a bad setup for 4 on the Sun. It's better than the setup for 4 on the Pearl!!! But I read there was a setup with a double sofa bed?? Maggie This is NCL Sun 6208 with the sofa made into a bed - stateroom does sleep 4. These are sold as partially obstructed view stateroom category OK but the view is actually into the promenade and then out to the outside - - so you have smaller view but really no obstruction here is example This is the bathroom set up This is the promenade deck - you can see the stateroom round windows. NCL ropes off this end of the promenade deck at night. This is 6210 - you can see the sofa in the mirror reflection. This stateroom is shown as 3 passenger category. and this is 6210 looking toward the hall doorway
theloo Posted June 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2015 I think that is a double sofa bed. I would say that looks like an OV on the Sun for 5 because the set up looks almost exactly like our balcony for 5.

I think my quad inside had a bed on the wall and a bed that dropped down from the ceiling. never tried it since I was going solo.
maggieworkman Posted June 16, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2015 Thanks for the pictures. It looks like there isn't any room between the bed and the shelving unit in that last picture? Maggie
familycruzinnewbie Posted June 18, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Thanks. I may be looking at something for next summer now. What are the quad like on the Pearl? What was the number on the cabin for the Sun where there is a sofa bed and a pull down bed?

familycruzinnewbie Posted June 22, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted June 22, 2015 So no option like this on Pearl or Jewel I take it. They are very obscure. Sun explains the set up where the other two just say "with enough bedding to sleep 4" so not really enough beds.
kkitty44 Posted July 13, 2018 #15 Share Posted July 13, 2018 Thanks for the pictures. It looks like there isn't any room between the bed and the shelving unit in that last picture? Maggie There is. It’s just the angle of the picture
