Just back from Carnival Miracle 4/4/15-4/11/15

It takes aong time, i like to fly down the morning of the cruise and take the train back. Such a beautiful ride to San Luis Obisbo on the coast, then over Cuesta Grade. Very nice ride. But it does take time.

Thanks for the review. Loved all the pics. We leave Sat. I have a question about the Casino and the complementary cruise. We always spend more time in the Casino then we should and have never been given anything. Where you playing anything in particular? Did you just show them your sail and sign card each time you played?

I just played penny to quarter slots. Used my card in the machine. I never spoke to any employees except the drink waiters and the cashier once. I was kinda surprised.

I had went on the Miracle last April to Hawaii and loved it. I played pennies and quarters also and got a free cruise. Didn't do anything in particular or spend a ton of money. Just played daily. We also got put on a list to get special offers from the casino and are going to Alaska in June for 120 dollars each, extended balcony cabin. So excited! Thank you for the review of the Miracle. It is a really nice ship.

Thanks so much for the review. I like Spirit class and I have had some great time on trains...

 

I took one once from Salem Or to San Francisco...too long ago to remember. And the Starlight lots of times to Seattle from Portland.

 

I loved seeing that Hilton again. I got an extrememely good bid deal on it in 2009 before taking the Paradise in Long Beach....I still need to do more right there....so thanks for sharing your day. I thought that was a nice hotel and I had the flights from hell getting there very very late...with a change in Denver and major holdup. I got a hamburger on the last minute of room service...(as I type I remember a sweet talk I had with my mom now gone..how sweet..during that hamburger). Anyway...the room was very nice..upscale sheets and bed and that was a gourmet char broiled ground sirloin burger...with some nice salad...really good and it was not just my starvation, lol.

 

Nice hotels are a treat... thanks again..loved the Queen Mary and that dome too...love it there and so glad Miracle was good and your low key workarounds were helpful..she looked pretty as did your family and so great one of your "granny and papas" could go, you will always remember so cool an adventure for all..together....Sarah
