recyclelady Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I'm usually able to ignore laundry or do a few things in the washbowl. I'll be on the Emerald Princess next week for 24 days. I know I'll be using the self-serve laundry. I'm taking a few Tide Pods. How do I pay for the washer and dryer? Quarters or tokens? Thanks! susancruzs Posted April 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2015 I was onboard for 25 days, Oct./Nov. 2014 and at that time, it was still quarters. Enjoy your cruise!
shofer Posted April 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Bring a roll of quarters. It is $2 per load washer and dryer. Sue
coo359a2 Posted April 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Not sure if every ship has changed but for Coral and Regal Princess in January they are now charging $3 to wash or dry. No more quarters for those ships - now you swipe your cruise card and get tokens to use.

You can get whatever you need for the laundry at the front desk. Just useless added weight. DON
USAF Retired Posted April 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Just on the Emerald in January and it is still $2 per load to wash and dry. Always take a roll of quarters with us in our carry on as the Passenger Services Desk will sometimes be out.
