Ladies I need your thoughts

I will be surprising my DW & DD with two cruises, my plan is to buy new luggage and put our edocs in, on top of some NCL bath robes, is this too corny or would you like that sort of thing?

Sounds fun (unless your wife is the kind who is particular about her luggage).

Thank all for the encouragement on this, I don't do this sort of thing, I'm very bad a surprises as I get to excited and after a few glasses of spirits I spoil it lol looks like no drinks for a while[emoji16]

I gave my daughter a New Years cruise as a Christmas/Hanukah/Festivus gift. I gave her a gift bag with a NCL t-shirt, some New Years Eve party supplies, a fancy sweater suitable for New Years Eve partying, and a scroll that I made with an announcement that we were going on the cruise. When she went through the bag, she got to the scroll last. It was a BIG hit, as was the cruise. We're going again this year.

That so great! How old is your daughter? We got these as a gift for ours..she loved them and they seem to hold up great. They also had other really cute design if she is younger.

I'd love it... if you skipped the robe and made it a Louis Vuitton hardsided suitcase ; -)

 

 

 

I'm picky about my luggage, and would never wear a NCL robe, but if your DD & DW are less particular, I think it's a nice surprise.

 

 

I refuse to spend that kind of coin on an item that sits in the crawl space for most of its life.

No you didn't mention that yet lol, I've got some great used stuff in the basement up for grabs [emoji38] it doesn't match and will always be heavy even when empty, all the straps are missing for clothes and the zippers are a bit worn out so you underwear my fly out at a moments notice, but hell its free to the GV gang lol

I hope you got her a Latitudes #. Mine all had them too, and will spring to Platinum the minute they turn 18.

Not corny at all, I am doing the same thing for my brothers 4 kids ranging from 3-15. It was supposed to be knapsacks/beach bags but I have been shopping for months and thankfully got a new set of luggage from the casino. The bags are stuffed with toys, games, beach balls, bubbles, pirate stuff, selfie sticks, glow everything, flip flops, underwater cameras, waterproof cell phone bags, sunglasses, silly string (not for the ship that one), suntan lotion, decks of cards, uno, family feud, beach towels and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. I ordered a Carlo's cake to be delivered on day 1 but I will let the butler know to hold it until I can set up everyone's bed with their stuff. I already warned my brother so he knows to take the Suburban to the terminal, hes gonna need it!

yes I know, I spoil them all rotten

Yes mam, she would be silver right now if she was 18, I'm going to have her pay for a few cruises when she is of age to pay is back lol, we will all be platinum after the second of these booked cruises
