That's a shame, looks like a good way to sort out reservations etc.

You may as well leave it until you're on board, you never know… It wasn't officially working on our cruise last Christmas/New Years, but it would still connect to the ship's wifi and there seemed to be some minor functionality (really minor, I don't even remember what now).

It was functioning on the Pearl several weeks ago. Maybe the Jade will have it by the time you are on board. It was a handy service.

The only ships where you can use iConcierge are the following (the Jade is not among them):

Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Getaway, Norwegian Pearl, Norwegian Jewel and Pride Of America.

Plus Star that just got out from dry dock about a month ago. Jade will get iConcierge only after the next dry dock just like Dawn and Gem will.

We used it on The Jewel but it didn't provide anything useful. We didn't pay the fee to be able to communicate with others since we were told that it was hit or miss with reception.
