Westerndam ?

First time on HAL.

 

Will have a balcony and inside cabins on the Westerndam.

 

Will these cabins have a small refrig in them?

Yes, there will be, although they aren't referred to as refrigerators. They are more like a cooler.

 

No-host mini-bars can be found in every stateroom onboard ms Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Oosterdam, Prinsendam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam and in the verandah stateroom category and higher for all other ships. Holland America Line does not recommend storing medication in any mini-bar. Please contact the ship's Medical Center for any medication requiring refrigeration.

The mini refrigerator will be full of small bottles of alcohol, wine and beer and coke -- not free.

So if you want to put anything in there -- ask your cabin steward to remove the items so that you will not be charged for them.

I do not find the mini refrigerators keep my bottle of ice water as cold as I like it.

but there will be a bucket of ice in your room and if you need to have it replenished more often, let the room steward know. Always smile!:)
