After you locate and price out a Miami hotel that offers the parking package, you might consider this for cost comparison. Spend the night before the cruise out some distance from Miami, at one of the much cheaper Interstate chain hotels. Then drive into Miami the next morning and just park at the curise port parking garage. It's expensive at $20 a day (assuming it still is $20), but is super convenient and only a very short walk over to the port terminal building. Also, at the end of the cruise, no waiting for a shuttle. Just get in you car and go.

It may depend on your cruise. We are frequently gone for 2-4 weeks. One trip we were gone 34 days. At $20 a day, that would not be very smart.

At both of these hotels, or parking cost was only a modest charge over the regular room rate ($30 for 30 days of parking).
