Packing Men's Suit

Recommended Posts

Please forgive me if this has been discussed.

I am looking for the best way to pack 2 dress shirts and 1 suit. I've researched the packing envelopes...do they work for this?

Any help is much appreciated!

My DH always takes a suit (or tux) & several shirts. Never has to send anything out for pressing. He puts the suit in a dry cleaner bag at the top of the suitcase folded over once. He has his shirts together in a dry cleaner bag folded once on the top of the suit. Never has wrinkles.

I use this method every time for DH's tux and shirts. Works like a charm.

Use an extra-large zip-lock bag and you're done.

Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

This is a great video! Thanks for link!

When you take the shirts to be laundered, have the cleaners "box" rather than hang them. Pack them as they are ceo de from the cleaner and you'll be set. Quality wool suits don't wrinkle. Hang them overnight and any small creases will fall out. Linen is hopeless, you will have no choice but to send it out for pressing. Poly blends can wrinkle pretty badly as well.
