I'm going to be on Liberty 7/2 - 7/11 and was wondering if anyone knew if anything special would be done for Independence Day?

I'm guessing, probably not, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

You're right...nothing much. The ship isn't an American ship, and Independence Day is an American holiday!

July 4th is just another day on the ships. I have never observed any attempt to acknowledge the American holiday.

We were on the Vision last year on July 4th. They had a balloon drop and patriotic songs in the Centrum. I think they had a big cake in the Windjammer as well.

I've been on two RCI cruises that have been during the 4th of July holiday. On both cruises, the holiday was acknowledged with an evening pool deck party. Music and a very nice buffet. It even had the "old school cruise" ice sculptures and food display.

I have a friend that cruised on July on the Oasis they had what others said a cake and ballons

We were also on Vision last year for the 4th of July, agree with what other poster said and they also had a traditional BBQ out by the pool. I remember decorations other places as well.

A American flag cake and a giant apple pie on the Adventure Baltic cruise. Plus a party on the royal promenade.
