lovelife Posted May 25, 2015 Author #76 Share Posted May 25, 2015 Nice review with beautiful pictures. We were on the week after you which was Easter vacation week for mostly NJ and NY. I believe we had slightly more kids than your week and they were well behaved. Most of our cruises have to be around school schedules and so far we never had any issues, guess we have been very lucky. We too thought that Chic had excellent food with poor service. We were there 3 times and it slightly improved by the third time. Thanks. So glad the children were well behaved. I loved the Chic food I had. Was never offered dessert so can't comment on that. ranchette Posted May 27, 2015 #77 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Just for info re the wrist bands - we got two black ones in our cabin on our TA - So I went along to guest services and swopped one for a white one.You could swop it for a watch strap one if you preferred that type and they also had them in red, yellow and blue. Simple to do (apart for the standard 20 mins queue!) What are the wrist bands for and do you always have to wear them?
Yorkvillain Posted May 27, 2015 #78 Share Posted May 27, 2015 What are the wrist bands for and do you always have to wear them? You can charge items and drinks to your account just by holding your wrist band up to the reader. They also open your stateroom door. We loved them. They are so convenient and I am going to miss them on ships that do not have them. However they are completely optional. You do not have to wear them. You can use your regular room key as you normally do to open your door or to purchase stuff.
lovelife Posted May 27, 2015 Author #79 Share Posted May 27, 2015 I love the idea too. Just wish they would have been secure enough to wear and use.

Could have been, but I saw several lying on the floor all over the ship so anyone could pick them up and use them!!
Kokomo91165 Posted May 28, 2015 #85 Share Posted May 28, 2015 Did the Grande menu change mid cruise? We keep hearing that the menus rotate throughout the sailing to allow guests to eat at some of the venues more than once during their cruise. read52 Posted May 29, 2015 #86 Share Posted May 29, 2015 Could have been, but I saw several lying on the floor all over the ship so anyone could pick them up and use them!! I found one and thought the same thing so I gave to a person at IFly. He said that it happens all the time and that the people who it belonged to had reported it and he threw it in the trash. They did at the other restaurants so I presume at Grande too. I'm sure someone will give the correct answer. Off to the Oasis!!!!
