Dixie24 Posted March 18, 2016 #1130 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Does anyone on here purchase more than they need to pay off their cruise/need for onboard spending and use it as an easy way to make 10% return on their money? Assuming the casino method works, seems like an easy way to make money.

Twintowngirl Posted March 18, 2016 #1132 Share Posted March 18, 2016 Yeah! Grabbed a few 100's for my upcoming cruise in July! My sister got some discounted 500 ones from her CC company and we are using those for spending on the next cruise plus to book an upcoming trip in Feb '17. Now I have extra spending money for what ever I might need on board the Breeze. THanks for the heads up that they were available! Deb

Assuming the casino method works, seems like an easy way to make money. So I have posted about this previously on the Verizon card thread, and we have always been able to get the cash back at guest services the last night of the cruise regardless of the amount ranging from $80-$250. I agree it is an easy way to double-dip and purchase more gift cards when you get back home. For those that gamble, many use the casino method, which I might try if guest services ever declines my request. But I say go for it doesn't hurt to ask and if not they will mail you a new gift card in it's place or you can go to the Cherry on Top and purchase a gift card while onboard the ship. Just love saving money :D

lolavix Posted March 18, 2016 #1145 Share Posted March 18, 2016 1. Someone posted this a few weeks ago, but when you get your cards, there is a flyer with them. There is a code for 1000 points. I just got the cards I ordered last week and got an easy 1000 points. 2. If you get the "Rewards for Good" emails, there is always a code towards the bottom of the email. If you enter it on the "Rewards for Good" website, you usually get another 150 points. 3. As some of you have mentioned, if you log in, you get 50 points. That is true every day. 4. The quizzes seem to be sporadic for me as far as rewarding me points. Sometimes I get points, and sometimes I don't, and there doesn't really seem to be a rhyme or reason as to when I'll get points. Sometimes I can take multiple quizzes and get points for each one. Sometimes, I'll just take one and get no points at all.
kgb46 Posted March 18, 2016 #1146 Share Posted March 18, 2016 I noticed that sometimes I earn 75 points for just logging on during the day. Anyway, I was able to get 2 of the $100 and a friend who is going with me got 2 of the $100. Cruise is paid for so this will cover excursions. We are not sailing till next April so all we do now is sit back and relax and enjoy a land vacation next month!
