Captain's Club for Beginners

Recommended Posts

My husband and I, along with one of our daughters and her friend, traveled together on the Reflection last January, and are sailing next week on the Summit. I signed myself up for "preview" level Captain's Club, but I'm not sure I gave the number to the TA who made our reservation. My husband didn't create his account until after the reservation was made, and I just signed my daughter up the other day. Not sure her friend has signed up at all.

I know the perks for the Classic Tier aren't much, but, heck, we qualify for them and would be glad to have the discount coupons or whatever.

How do I ensure that we're recorded as Captain's Club members? And if my daughter's guest hasn't signed up yet, can she sign up on board and be given the coupons and whatnot, since she has cruised before?

You can call the Captain's Club at 1-800-760-0654 in the U.S., Canada and UK. Then give them the sailing date you were on for Reflection. They should be able to get you all numbers and credit for first cruise.

I do know we got our points for the first cruise--I just don't think the numbers are attached to our reservations and we've already checked in online. I'll call Captain's Club and see if they can fix that.

And what about the young lady we're bringing along who's not mine? I don't want to just set up an account for her, although I suppose there's nothing stopping me! If I don't do this, can she join on board and be given the benefits? Since she does have a completed cruise?

When you call Captain's Club ask them all of your questions. I call them all of the time when I have a question, no matter what the question. They sometimes transfer me to the department that has the answer. Someone gave you the number, just call.

Thanks, I did! You are right! The person was extremely helpful and took care of everything, including adding my daughter's friend as a CC member based on our prior sailing together.

There were a few other coupons, too. A discount on laundry services, some "match play" play in casino (table games), a few other things. We used the photo and internet coupons--even 10% off saved us a chunk of change, or, in this case, a chunk of OBC, because we got unlimited packages.
