CAS drink card

Sorta irrelevant but I remember my mom told me that in the past, you used to be able to just go up to the bar in the casino, flash your free drink card and they would get you a drink. However, nowadays we have to flag down the servers.
On my last two cruises (May and November), when the servers, who usually came around frequently, did come around, I'd simply tell one of the slot techs and they would either get me a drink or send someone over. I never had to go up to the bar to get a free drink with my card.

Interestingly, whenever I play slots, I don't really get drinks as I just wanna win! I know when my parents are playing poker and want a drink, they simply ring the bell to get pit supervisor's attention and then he/she would get a server like asap. However, when I am playing the coin pushing machine, it's quite an effort to flag down servers as it seems like they just straight up walk past you. I still remember when I was on the Getaway last November, there were 2 incidents in which I asked for a drink, server was like "got it!" and never came with my drink lol.

It is a lot easier for the poker players, since they are dealing with a live person (dealer) and we slot players are dealing with a machine. If it happens on your next cruise, I would speak to the Casino Host and that should solve the problem.

I only ever order diet pepsi and when he never came back, it was just like nooooooo but wasn't too big of a deal for me. I remember when I realized he wasn't coming back, I was about done playing anyways so I simply went to my parents to get them to get me a drink. My mom has the VIP casino card so she gets service like asap. Like the only time I will get upset with drinks is if I stand at the bar for a bit and the bartender ignores me while he services someone else who came after me. This actually happened when I was on the Jade.

Interestingly, I was on the Epic a month later and drink-no show never happened! Instead, the same server would always be the one getting my drink order. At times, I would sit down and he would come by and be like "diet pepsi?" It also helped that I tip him every time when I got a drink.
